Last updated: March 2026

Who we are

Pop Piano Freedom is based in the United Kingdom. If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, please contact us at hello@poppianofreedom.com.

What data we collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

  • Email address — collected when you create an account. Used to identify you and allow you to log in.
  • Session completion data — when you complete a session, we store the session ID and a timestamp against your account. Used to track your learning progress.

We do not use analytics tools, advertising trackers, or any third-party tracking scripts. We do not sell your data.

Cookies

We use cookies solely to keep you logged in. These are essential session cookies set by our authentication provider (Clerk) and are required for the service to function. No consent is required for essential cookies.

Third-party processors

We share data with the following sub-processors, solely to operate the service:

  • Clerk (clerk.com) — handles account creation, authentication, and stores your email and completion data. Clerk is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
  • Vercel (vercel.com) — hosts the application. Vercel processes request data (IP address, browser) to serve pages. Data is processed in accordance with Vercel's Data Processing Agreement.

How long we keep your data

Your data is retained for as long as you have an account. If you delete your account, your email address and all completion data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict how we process your data

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@poppianofreedom.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
